Parkin Psychology focuses on supporting children, adolescents and families through issues that can occur throughout school and life. MEET TOM PARKIN
Tom Parkin is a registered Psychologist and works in a school setting with children and adolescents presenting with a range of concerns, including anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, and challenges associated with learning and school engagement. He has a particular interest in helping young people build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and develop a clearer understanding of their individual strengths and needs.
In addition to therapeutic work, Tom has extensive experience conducting psychological and educational assessments, including assessments for learning differences, attention- related difficulties, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). He adopts a neuro affirming approach and works closely with neurodivergent young people and their families to support a deeper understanding of cognitive, learning, and developmental profiles.
